Clayton State University Student Housing top

Arctic Engineers and Constructors scope of work includes clearing, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewerage, water distribution, 2 each modular walls, curb & gutter, asphalt paving, and striping. The project included offsite utilities (sanitary and water lines) which presented many challenges. Some of the challenges include dealing with existing utilities (which conflicted in many areas), maintaining traffic control for the University while crossing with trenches, and dealing with protecting students and faculty.

Arctic Engineers and Constructors was able to work on the offsite utilities while the clearing and grading activities took place onsite. Because of the small site, this allowed the grading crew to get ahead of the utility crew and maintain separation for a safe site. The careful planning and execution allowed AEC to provide the client with a quality product on schedule.
